It`s my low profile horn, to let bicycleriders know they have to make way. With this, they`re offended less easily. The bell de-escalates, works like a charm.

Love it. Will install one on my bikes too; important in a country where bicyclists are treated and protected like an endangered species...  >:(

I took my AT out for it's first gravel ride yesterday.  The bike is easier to ride on gravel than my old CT, less weight, lower centre of gravity and better dirt bike geometry.

I rode over the local hills and then out east to southern Wairarapa, bottom east corner of the North Island of NZ.  It has these wonderful gravel roads, and sometimes these roads cut through farmland and turn into routes for a little bit. I had to clean my bike when I got back, was covered in cow and sheep shit.

Over the hill on the hill

Then head east over some more hills. Now starting to get into the back blocks

The start of 60 odd kms of gravel to play on

Called into a mates place for coffee

Then had a play in more gravel. Had to open and shut a few gates when the road cuts through farmland

The day was fine, if not cool for this time of year, so I left early and went for a ride to the coast and back today.

First a 2 hour ride to a place on the south east coast of the North Island, Castle Point (Famous for it's lighthouse but I didn't take a photo of that!). This one is looking up the coast towards where I am riding to.

About half an hour up the coast

And looking back down the coast on my return trip. The weather had warmed up by this stage.

The beauty of this ride is there are two hours of lovely twisty tarmac to get to the start of the coastal ride and then an hour of gravel to have fun with up and down the coast.

Cheers from sunny NZ.
