Idea: what about a brake lever?
« on: May 05, 2013, 11:53:45 »
This is an idea I've had since I tested the bike: If I ever bought a CT DCT, I would like to have a rear brake lever on the left hand side of the handlebar, just like scooters have.

Just to fill the "emptiness" there, and to make rear braking easier (the bulk of the DCT makes it more difficult to operate the pedal), and because, in case of emergency, I believe that my instincts would make me grab everything that was available  ;D

If someone ever does it, please report.  :)

Greetings,

Josep

Interesting idea.  I think the version of the bike we get in NZ is standard gear box, so not a discussion point in this part of the world.

I think this is not a good idea.
I have a CT DCT, and after 8.000 kms sometimes I still try to shift gear down.
In a turn it would be very dangeorus.
