Shame on Honda (help about injectors sensor)

Hello all,

there's a fellow whose Varadero 2005 broke down. It seems that a sensor in the injection system is kaputt and needs replacement.
However, unlike Yamaha, Honda doesn't sell this part separately (the one in the blue circle)  , but only the whole injection system at a price over 2500 € !!!



Can anybody help him not to get ripped off?

I think the guy could finally find an used part for a fraction of the cost.

Shame on Honda; and Keihin, the maker of the part that was actually broken and couldn't be bought separately.

1st, is this the correct diagnosis? What alerted you to the problem? Is there a chance it is the same problem I had with the misfire @ 2000 rpm?
If so, that was an 'O' ring problem. See forum passim.

Thats the difference between Honda and BMuu. BMuu gives priority to the BMuu owners  ( thing the BMuu globe insurance for instance ) .Shame on Honda indeed and a curse to the briliant director mind who made that suggestion  !!
