I took mine off for a recent two up trip to the Alps.
I was worried about the Swiss police not liking them. Gillian also enjoyed the standard pipes.
They have yet to be replaced.
A ten minute job if not for the givi racks.

I have the givi racks for E41 cases, it looks like the pipes will slide out without taking the racks off?
Or am i dreaming  :-\

I find they need to turn/twist a little to get separation from the header pipe.
With the Remus pipes there is no packing gasket. Metal to metal, so not a lot of give.

You can sure give it a try. Lets know how you get on.
