Trying to see if I can have the links from drop box shared with you all. I went to Jasper (Canada) and took a 22 km road up to Celistine lake trail head. Seen another on a 650 honda that said there was only a couple of bad areas. Going down the switch back was ok but coming back the ruts and holes stalled the bike. All brakes on it was sliding towards the guard rail but I started it and rode the clutch thru that area.
As a bonus I saw a black bear sow with two cubs. I then took the pavement by mount Edith Cavell that had nice twisties. Really impressed with the Heideneau Scouts on the back that I just put on. Good on pavement and did really well on the pavement.

Thanks for sharing our beautiful part of the world  8)

I really should get a photo of Jasper in Jasper one day  ;D   ...I always seem to be going North or South ...I should do the Ice Fields again sometime

When the trails get a little rough I find the suspension a bit too hard and the bike hops around too much ...and then it's Ooops!  :'(
Pleased to hear that the Heidi's work well

I thought you had an air freshener on your "dash" but then saw it was a thermometer

P.S. only did 400km today in 35 C heat ...what's it like near you?

Daughters 18th bday today so no bike. Yesterday it was 29C in Edson and on the big hills it was at times showing 50C but that was with the sun directly on it. An honest ready was showing 38C on the bike up high..... About 30C lower down. Always wear full gear and it was hot. I stopped to wet my shirt in the rivers and still cooked..... It was great!
Let me know if you ever wish to meet up sometime. The week end after the August long I will be joining up with a military police charity ride in jasper.
