They are such gorgeous tar-sealed roads though - cambered, well drained, sticky with the extra grip making for more wear, not much traffic, I can hardly wait - only 5 sleeps to go as we used to tell the kids!  The gravel seems different to the North Island too - down south it's much more like riding on marbles, much less sticky down south than up North when you're off the tar-seal.
Waiting for your ride report and pictures of the trip  VCIF_ok

Still waiting your report  :D

Is there somebody here who have finished a rear 07+ ?  (How much kils?) I have to manage my next VIM + baltics travel (surely something around 6000 kms ...)  VCIF_salut
Alone we go faster, together we go further

I do not ride fast, I ride far / I'm not lost, I'm just exploring

Just posted in the other AT tires thread.
They are excellent - 15,500 km and the front is done. Rear is still going - likely for another 3-5,000 kilometres.
Superb tire in every terrain.

Have you tried 07+ on the front. I've been heard it will be available (perhaps overseas before us ?)

Most of the North American dealers are out of Mitas tires for the season. Just leftovers. I really liked the E07 front - I was quite surprised at how good it was, especially after having a more knobby tire like the Anakee Wild (which is still my favorite).

I think next season I'll try the E07+ tires. Or maybe an E09 or E10 rear since the E12 was so good.

Will E-07 be discontinued?
E-07 will not be discontinued, we will only replace the selected sizes with E-07+.

Can I combine E-07 and E-07+?
A variety of tests on different bikes and under different conditions confirmed that E-07+ is fully compatible with E-07. They can be fitted as a pair (e.g. E-07 front, E-07+ rear).
