Hello all!
Well, after a couple of business visits to the country, I must say that we set apart my initial idea of a meeting where we could "walk into the city". This could only be feasible having a hotel as a basis with no accommodation other than double rooms and no possibility to plant tents. Going a bit away to some apartment resort was a possibility, that could offer the chance for room sharing, but still no tent (or easy parking in most cases).
So, taking everything into account, we are working now in a place some km away from Andorra la Vella, into the mountains. Good news is that May is low season (less traffic) and bad news were that May is low season (a couple of inquiries made so far answered "sorry, closed for holidays"). More info to come in the next few weeks :)
Looking forward to meet you all again,
Josep

Ubertourer: not sure what you are trying to say either. If you participate to VIM, you join in @ the designated accommodation. As mentioned by Gilles, details will follow. We are all waiting for the info's from the local party (JosepM ;) )
Hello friends!VCIF_ThumbUp VCIF_ThumbUp
Tomorrow, after some preliminary contacts, a colleague in the OrgaTeam and I are going in person to Andorra. If everything goes as expected, at the end of the day we'll have an official VIM20 meeting place! :) Please keep in touch in the next few weeks for any further details.
For the moment I can say that we have set aside the idea of an "urban" meeting (no walking to shops possible) but a "mountain placed" instead. All for the sake of having different kinds of possible accommodation, including the compulsory Jack's (and anyone else's who so wish) tent place ;)
Greetings to all,
Josep

So....we can only attend if we book into accomodation set by the organisation team ?
Can we book our own accomodation and attend the VIM ?
Furthermore I fully underline Gilles' brief reply.

Pictures have long since gone but you'll get the general idea here http://www.honda-varadero-uk.org/forum/index.php?topic=9776.msg83573#msg83573
Just re read the Tarragona Vim ??.
Brought a tear to my eye, and my wallet.
I can now look back with a smile,
Sailing into Santander this time, heading over to Portugal and south to Gibraltar, a small piece of Great Britain guarding the Mediterranean.
Then a few nights partying in Benidorm then hopefully Tamarit on a working Varadero before meeting you all in Andorra.
The way Home is yet to be decided but possibly up through France Belgium and the Nederlands......!

will he or wont he get to the border.Let's face it, much better chance for him than me :(

We are still working on getting the correct information onto the website but to try and spread out the work we can start registration on the website for anyone thinking of attending VIM20.
Once registered you will then be able to fill out your profile details as normal.
If you would like to register please send an email from the email address that you use for the forum to admin@vim20.org
Thanks
SB
Are there any prices known for the bungalows and/or apartments ?
I can´t find them :-\.
However tks for the work done by the admins and by the host - Josep.

My plan for VIM.
Arrive. Say a massive thank you to Gilles and Stewart for pulling this together.
Find room. Find bar. Say hello to old friends and new. Eat. Return to bar.
Saturday and Sunday wander off wherever looks warm and interesting. Bar visits in the evenings. Bit of piss taking no doubt.
Go home happy on Monday the 21st after breakfast.
Rule number 1: Do not bug the orga team, instead buy them drinks and ice creams.
Rule number 2: Try not to be an a-----e. (Too much!)
Sounds like a perfect weekend to me! VCIF_ThumbUp
