Just a short reminder the the Isle of Man is not part of the EU or the UK.

You should check your existing motorcycle insurance to be sure the the IoM is included and also consider additional Travel Insurance :

Thank you Stewart   VCIF_salut,

at first I was actually surprised, but then I read the general conditions of my car insurance:

In the motor vehicle liability insurance, you have insurance cover within the geographic borders of Europe and in the non-European areas that belong to the scope of the European Union.

In addition, the Health Insurance is worldwide given by ADAC International Health Insurance.

So I feel good  VCIF_ThumbUp.

Obviously there is a translation from German to English but, to me, "within the geographic borders of Europe and in the non-European areas that belong to the scope of the European Union" would not cover either the UK or the IoM ?

If you are happy that's good but I would be inclined to ring them and check.

Hello Stewart,

in the insurance-policy is written "within the geographic borders of Europe" (not European Union).
And the Isle of Man is in the geographic borders of Europe or not  ;).

But thank you again, I shall ring them and ask ...

Edit:  I phoned with the insurance and they confirmed the insurance coverage on "isle of man"  ;D
