Possible location for future vcim?
« on: March 27, 2016, 04:08:21 »
Hi everyone,

I have a Dero '02 and a TA '99, and I live in Tangier, Morocco. I migrated from Holland quite a while ago. But I frequently access this forum and the transalpclub.nl forum to learn more on my bikes.

Though I was planning to attend vcim this year for the first time, unfortunately other plans have appeared in the meantime, business-related.

I was wondering if the organizers of the vcim could ever consider on having Morocco as a location for a future vcim, seen that Morocco is a very popular motorcycle trip destination.

Not that I'm trying to spare myself the trip  ::)
It's only that I'm sure that ppl will enjoy riding their bikes in Morocco.

Regards,
Aziz

Sure it will be nice to go out the "old Europe " , and sure Marocco can be a not too far destination, and very nice riding zone .
You have to work on a solid orga team, and propose it during a next VCIM  ;)

Thanks Zebulon... Hopefully I will be coming to vcim19, a chance to meet with bikers around the world with the similar passion. In the meantime, I'll be just following and participating in the forum.

VCI member Blacksmith (Mense) visited your country 1,5 yr ago and I loved his GoPro footage and pictures.
A wonderfull country!  And afterall... the first Honda Varadero Adventure tour was held in Morrocco, back in 1999.

You can attend vcim19 next year in Sweden.
And you can attend vcim20 the following year, much closer to your place.  ;)

... and there's no other vcim scheduled at this moment. So, why not vcim21 Morocco?  :)

Greetings,

Josep

this is the moment for using the 'Thumbs Up' smilley:  VCIF_ThumbUp

PS coming to a VCIM is not obligatory if you have a good proposal; not every one can travel that easy; we must not forget.

That might only be you and me, but it will make for some good discussion over a few beers in May.

Don't actually know where vcim20 will be held... But distance is no issue to me, I think.  ::)

Glad to see that ppl are interested in Morocco. It's indeed a great country for rides, and the good climate also has a great influence why ppl like coming here, good weather throughout the year, except say mid-december to mid-february.

But who actually organizes vcims all these last year? Isn't it a certain and same committee every year?
