Top case is too big, is a high probability that it will fall on larger potholes. The rear trunk is somewhat delicate, 3 times lessstrong than at the varadero. (At manual - 10 kg brutto weight max), and look that Your topcase has the center of gravity too far back

On Thursday I am replacing the rear suspension, the aim is to raise the weight carrying capacity form the max limit recommended by Honda of 194 kgs to the weight I need for two up touring with gear - 220 kgs.I had two choices, either buy a heavier spring and revalve the OEM rear suspension or replace it. I have chosen to replace it. I looked at Wilbers, Nitron and Ohlins and decided to go with Ohlins. The set up is being done by NZ's top suspension guru so hopefully this will head to an improvement in the bike's handling with two up plus luggage. After that just extra fuel capacity to think about...
