In Canada (BC for sure):
99% of roundabouts in BC have give way signs as you enter them. As one would expect you must give way to traffic already on the roundabout.
Makes sense to me.
However, if a roundabout does not have a give way signs posted then the traffic on the roundabout must give way to the right and slow or stop on the roundabout to let a vehicle enter.
Yeah, crazy right?
