I also have Givi bars on my Varadero & I agree with most of the comments about the finish is poor & you do get what you pay for.
However, they have worked well when I've lost my footing & the bike has fallen over
I would also add that when the bike did fall the link bar that fastens the two sided together & also fastens to the engine had been removed.
This was removed when I fitted the Desert storm engine guard. I was going to replace the bar with a home brew item, but never got around to it.
