how is the petrol situation in holland, germany, and poland. is there plenty about, as coming from the uk, its a bit daunting if we are constantly going to be thinking about the next fuel stop all the way to poland and back. a lot of petrol stations shut every other day here in the uk due to supply problems.

 thank you Bogdan: 8 to 19 instead of 15 to 25° here for the next days , we do not ride during the night , yes some difference  but seems not to be very at altitude; hot clothes needed

Dear freinds
I am planning to travel from Vienna to VIM22 thru Slovakia in one day about 700 km. Has any one made that road, can it be travelled in one day or I have to devide it to two days.

On the main roads (as long as there is not too much traffic), from the very morning (6:00) - it is quite possible and on 6:00 p.m. you will be at the VIM.
However, choosing the side roads can be much more pleasant, but then the daily distance is about 550 km - although if you take it - you will also drive 700.

In Slovakia, eat Smashed cheese with french fries - yummy.  In slovak: "Vyprážaný syr a hranolky".   (spel:  https://translate.google.com/?hl=pl&sl=pl&tl=sk&text=Sma%C5%BCony%20ser%20z%20frytkami&op=translate)
