Andorran getaway
« on: June 08, 2015, 16:25:46 »
We decided before past VCIM, to take some days in Andorra after this meeting to try to breathe a little bit ... ::)

So last week adding some oil, changing rear brake pads and ... on the road again !  ;D

Leaving home, direction Béziers and Narbonne, then Corbières area :

Strange water color  :o

Nice small roads

No it is not Toscana !!

Yes , Garmin allow to take narrow roads also  ;D

Alone we go faster, together we go further

I do not ride fast, I ride far / I'm not lost, I'm just exploring

Near the Cathar town

Storm is not far (as usual in the Pyrenees...)

Last time we stopped here was with a Latvian black Vara ... (and 2 blues lovers  ;) )

Not too much people in the hotel swimming pool ...

Some more ... Small villages in deep valley

Nice & "authentic"

We leave then to enter in Catalonia

It becomes quickly more "mediterranean "

and dry (and hot :D )

Keeping north direction again , nice deep gorges (no not tarn Gorges  ;D )

the mountains close

We are now in

Pay attention to the signs, we met a doe, without harm to her and for us ...  :o  8)

Serious things begin , we are approaching Port de la Bonaigua http://www.vci-forum.com/index.php?topic=677.msg12296#msg12296

As usual in the Pyrenees , a lot of horses alone in the mountain

The other side is also nice and stunning

Nice vue from the hotel

Time to begin our return home

Going east we find again dry landscapes

A night in Roses where they stole our Norwegian elan (NALE) :'( ; Time to drink a coffee on a Cadaquès terrasse  ;)

And we are back in France - Banyuls wine trees ...

And Picnic place in Collioure

Sorry most of the pictures have been done riding  ...  ::)
