Our relatives have couple of houses available in that area ;)

Thanks for offer Jyrki, We stay in touch. that bench looks inviting..

this post can be usefull for those who want to ride thru Alps (and Pyrenees  ;D ) to join the VIM... a lot of snow this year, and some more for next week ... have to see when they can open next spring  VCIF_ok
 VCIF_salut

Thinking the snow report is more important mid-may. Had the same situation around VIM14 in Norway, two weeks before Trollstigen wasn't open but it went fast by machines and sun to make roads clear of snow

for those who need some help on routes, some ideas can be found here. We've done it a few years ago (perhaps a report somewhere ? ... )

Still a lot of snow falling on Alps these days; we are still far from your ride to Andorra, but I do not think alpine tracks (as Parpaillon or Assietta) can be opened before mid May (but wait and see) ... if global warming makes very hot temperature meters of snow can perhaps melt  ;D

Don't make these promises, Gilles. The Italians did so on VIM 8 in Sicily... and we suffered from 4+ Celsius in the night, and a merge 14+ during the day... On Sicily!  ;D :o

That's a warm summer's day for some people !

Last year in Andorra la Vella the daytime temperatures for the same weekend were between 16 - 25 °c .

Now I'm happy... you just made my day, Stewart. But I hold my breath till I actually can enjoy the warm sun on a terras @ the VIM grounds...  ;D
