Fit rear wheel after removal

A trick I use is to get an old 12-18"  inner tube and set it under the rear wheel and gradually inflate it to lift the wheel into position. Even doing this it is a much easier job with 2 people because you have to fit the chain, get the disc into the caliper, don't let the spacer fall,  line up the wheel to the swingarm and get the spindle through. Much easier with 2.

I use only the side stand (and a piece of wood on the other side) to take the wheel off and put it back. BUT...originally the axle is inserted from the left, and the nut comes on the right side. This makes it very difficult to allign all the spacers while balancing the wheel with the other hand.
SOLUTION: insert the axle from the right, at first just to catch the swing arm and the caliper support. Then move the wheel into position and use the axle as lever to allign everything. In the end just lift the left side and guide the axle through.

PS The axle has only one diameter, it doesn't matter how it's inserted.
